DUI Manslaughter
DUI Manslaughter involves causing death to another person, directly or indirectly. This is a second degree felony. The judge can sentence an offender to a minimum of 124.5 months in prison up to 15 years in prison. The penalties are as follows:
- A minimum of 124.5 months in prison up to 15 years in prison;
- Up to 15 years of probation;
- Up to $10,000.00 in fines;
- Permanent driver’s license revocation;
- Community service;
- Impoundment of vehicles;
- DUI School;
- Victim Impact Panel class;
- Substance abuse evaluation and treatment if necessary.
